So today started out unlike any other day I've had in a while and this wasn't even kid related! I get up this morning and let the dog out. Well while he's out he steps in his OWN poo! He gets let back into the house and the next thing you know there is poo ALL over the carpet in both the living room and the hallway and poo on our wood floor in the dining room...luckily we have the bedrooms closed off due to the 2 yr. olds destructive tendencies. :) I will say it took a few minutes for the hubby and I to figure out where the god awful stench was coming from! Once we realized it we let the dog BACK out and got to cleaning up the floors...Bleck! All of this before 8 a.m.!
When I go to let the dog back in the house I realize he STILL has chunks of poo stuck to his foot and tail...ewwwww. Out he goes again! I finish mopping the wood floor and vaccuming the carpets to get them ready for the carpet cleaner...thank god we have one! Meanwhile we realize the dog is going to need a bath and so I end up giving him one, because the hubby and 4 yr. old need to get out the door for school and work. Then I get to work on the carpets. Luckily it only took about an hour the clean them and I THINK everything came out. Next came the washing of the wet dog towels and driving the in-laws to the airport for their trip.....it's not even 10 a.m. at this point. I don't think I ever felt this tired from just a MORNING!
Makes me wonder what else can happen today. I also think I have 3 signs of the apocolypse happening in my house. We have this moth problem that I can't peg where they are coming from I just keep whacking the hell out of them with a fly swatter when I see them. Our guest bathroom toilet also broke today and then the poo thing. Is the world coming to an end? Who knows, but I didn't think it would take sooooo much work to get there. I thought it would just be BAM and it's over. :)
